The Madrigal Feast will take place at Brooke High School. It kicks off at 6 p.m. on December 14th and continues at 2 p.m. on December 15th. This event, originally conceived by Rick Taylor, is dedicated to preserving a rich tradition. As Jen Tulodzieski, the choir director at Brooke High School, explains, "They will be serenading us with a diverse range of Renaissance-type music. From the enchanting 'The Boar’s Head' to the lively 'Wassail Song' and many more, all set against the backdrop of mead. The performers will be donning their magnificent madrigal costumes and will keep us entertained throughout."
Teacher Karen Keener shares her enthusiasm, saying, "The fun is truly unparalleled. The music is simply fantastic, and the meal is always a delight. With Rocco Basil as the sponsor, the culinary experience is nothing short of delicious."
