With Christmas just around the corner, Hallmark has one more movie to offer in its 2024 Countdown to Christmas holiday. Alongside this, there are two delightful surprise extended cuts on the schedule.
The "Holiday Touchdown (Extended Cut)" will air on Friday, December 20 at 8 p.m. Eastern. You won't have to be disappointed about missing a new movie premiere on this day as Hallmark is presenting an extended version of its hit film, "Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story." (The extended cut is already available on Hallmark+.)
Jessica Lowndes and Ezra Moreland grace our screens with this new film. The winner of "Finding Mr. Christmas" shared with EW that he had approximately two months to prepare for his role after winning. He took acting classes to get ready.
"It was a truly eye-opening experience for me," he said. (We're keeping the winner's name a secret in case you haven't finished "Finding Mr. Christmas" yet.) He playfully mentioned that he wears a turtleneck in the movie and also has a shirtless scene.
Hallmark's synopsis goes like this: "Mia (Lowndes), a meticulous webpage editor for the Seattle Tourism Board, finds herself unexpectedly alone during the holidays. As the only one working, she gets involved in an unusual encounter when she meets a stray dog. Unsure how to handle the situation, she crosses paths with Max, a dog shelter owner."
The Tyler Hynes fun continues on Sunday night. Although there isn't a new movie premiere, viewers will get to enjoy an extended cut of "Three Wiser Men and a Boy," starring Tyler Hynes, Andrew Walker, and Paul Campbell.
Hallmark Mystery also has one last new Christmas film for us. "Trading Up Christmas" stars Italia Ricci and Michael Xavier.
Hallmark's synopsis for the film reads: "Michelle (Ricci) is the dreamer of her family, always coming up with imaginative ideas to make the world a better place. This Christmas, her sister Keri desperately needs a new home, and Michelle comes up with a creative plan to help. Starting with just a Christmas stocking, she sets out to trade her way up to something much greater—a house for Keri."
Hallmark+ has a bunch of fun premieres to delight fans this week!
"Deck the Halls on Cherry Lane" airs on December 19. This latest "Cherry Lane" installment takes us back to 1966, 1981, and 2000.
The second episode of "Ready, Set, Glow" premieres on December 19. This is the "Festive Families" episode. The synopsis reads: "In this episode, Wes Brown meets four families whose bonds grow stronger each year as they create new memories by building exceptional holiday light displays."
Episode 7 of "Holidazed" premieres on December 19. This one focuses on the Manetti-Hanahan family. A synopsis reads: "In the Manetti-Hanahan family, there's never a silent night at Christmastime; this year, Connie wants peace and asks her husband Chuck to set aside their neighborhood rivalry."
