"The 'Boy Meets World' Cast's Speeding Ticket Tale in 1990s Style"
2024-12-17
Sometimes, that seemingly simple question holds a remarkable influence. In a crossover podcast chat involving various stars from different shows, an interesting exchange took place. Danielle Fishel, along with Rider Strong and Will Friedle from "Pod Meets World", engaged in a conversation with Andrea Barber and Jodie Sweetin of "How Rude, Tanneritos!" and Staci Keanan and Christine Lakin of "Keanan and Lakin Give You Déjà Vu". Fishel asked everyone to name their most exciting thing of the year.
The Road Trip Highlight
Barber shared how her road trip to the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas with Sweetin was a significant moment. She mentioned that Sweetin was a much better driver and drove the whole way. Friedle playfully teased Rider, saying they made it without getting pulled over. This simple anecdote set the stage for some more unexpected events. The Podcasting Mishap
After asking for more exciting stories, Friedle revealed that in 2023, while on their way to the same festival with a camera crew, he, Fishel, and Strong were pulled over. Strong admitted they were recording a podcast while driving. Friedle added that every time Rider touched the wheel, they got pulled over. But the best part, Strong said, was when Danielle rolled down the window from the backseat and introduced herself as "Topanga". The officer was taken aback and the situation became quite interesting.Favorite New Year's Eve Memories
Elsewhere in the three-part crossover podcast, the TGIF stars shared their favorite New Year's Eve memories. For Fishel, it was 1999 when she was in Hawaii with *NSYNC and Britney Spears. She shared that all the girls got their belly buttons pierced and the guys got tattoos. However, Fishel already had her belly button pierced and decided to get her tongue pierced. At the age of 18, she took the decision, but her mom was not happy as she had a deal with Fishel that she could get her belly button pierced only if she promised not to get her tongue pierced. Fishel recalled that she took the tongue piercing out, but her mom was still angry as she felt Fishel had gone back on their deal.
