As Visit Hot Springs CEO Steve Arrison highlighted, the pairings have been finalized, creating anticipation among fans. The celebrity coaches will not only cheer on their athletes but also provide updates before matches and during breaks, enhancing the overall experience.

The lineup of coaches and their formidable sumo counterparts includes Bill Burrough, Hot Springs City Manager, mentoring Ichi, a towering figure at 6 feet 4 inches and weighing 540 pounds, who holds the prestigious Emperor’s Cup title. Another notable pairing is Jarrett Jackson, a well-known personality from US 97 Radio, coaching Hiroki, recognized as the heaviest sumo wrestler globally. Hiroki has made appearances in "John Wick 4" and the acclaimed series "Sanctuary".

Garland County Judge Darryl Mahoney teams up with Fumiya, known for his impressive width despite being only 5 feet 7 inches tall. Heather Baker, publisher of AY Magazine, takes on Ramy, a ten-time national sumo champion, bringing her own competitive spirit after defeating Ramy in last year's exhibition match. Leland Green, a career counselor at Fountain Lake High School, supports Mendee, a celebrated world sumo champion. Lastly, Monte Everhart, famous as the World’s Largest Leprechaun, guides Waka, who boasts an extensive career with 763 sumo matches under his belt.
