Early Spring Romance: Hallmark Unveils Exciting Movie Lineup for March 2025
2025-03-05

The eagerly awaited "Spring Into Love" programming from Hallmark Channel is set to commence earlier than usual, starting on March 22, 2025. This year’s lineup includes a series of romantic films under the theme “Hearts Around the Table,” featuring well-known actress Mindy Cohn. The collection will debut weekly on Saturday nights and promises a blend of familiar faces and new narratives. Additionally, the season will introduce a DaySpring destination movie starring Erin Cahill and the first Hallmark Mystery film in the “Aurora Teagarden” series. Fans can look forward to an array of heartwarming stories that explore love, personal growth, and community.

In a significant move, Hallmark has brought back Mindy Cohn, renowned for her role as Natalie on the 80s sitcom “Facts of Life.” Cohn spent much of 2024 filming four movies for the “Hearts Around the Table” series in Ontario, Canada. Her involvement hints at potential connections between the films, though details remain elusive. The shooting took place from August through November, with Cohn sharing glimpses of the production process via social media. Notably, she balanced this project with her commitments to Apple TV+’s Emmy-nominated show “Palm Royale.”

The “Hearts Around the Table” series showcases diverse storylines centered around love and community. The first installment, “Jenna’s First Love,” introduces Jenna, who organizes a charity event for billionaire Tom Redlands but faces challenges working with his assistant Andrew due to their past relationship. Next, “Shari’s Second Act” follows Shari, a painter who finds inspiration after moving back to D.C. and meeting Evan, a gallery owner disguised as a repairman. In “Josh’s Third Serving,” teachers Josh and Ella collaborate on fundraising efforts for after-school programs, leading to unexpected romance. Finally, “Kiki’s Fourth Ingredient” features Kiki, a caterer preparing for a large wedding, who discovers the importance of love with Clay’s support. Each film highlights unique characters navigating life's twists and turns.

Beyond the “Hearts Around the Table” series, Hallmark plans to release “Journey to You,” a DaySpring destination movie filmed in Madrid, Spain. Starring Erin Cahill and Erik Valdez, the film tells the story of Monica, who embarks on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage after missing out on a promotion. Along the journey, she finds inner peace and possibly love. Meanwhile, fans of mysteries can look forward to the premiere of “Aurora Teagarden: A Lesson in Murder,” which originally debuted on Hallmark+ in October. These additions promise to enrich the “Spring Into Love” experience with varied genres and engaging plots.

Ahead of its traditional April start, Hallmark’s early spring lineup offers viewers a delightful mix of romance, adventure, and mystery. With a talented cast and compelling storylines, the network aims to captivate audiences throughout the season. As the “Hearts Around the Table” series unfolds, each film will bring fresh perspectives on love and connection, while the additional movies provide further entertainment. Fans can anticipate a memorable viewing experience filled with heartfelt moments and surprising twists.
