Edward Berger's Conclave and the upcoming Timothée Chalamet-starring A Complete Unknown have taken the lead in the AARP Movies for Grownups Awards nominations. These nominations annually champion movies for grownups, by grownups, and encourage films and TV shows that resonate with older viewers. Focus Features' Conclave, starring Ralph Fiennes, scored a leading six nominations, while Searchlight's James Mangold-directed A Complete Unknown, hitting theaters on December 25, had five noms. The two pics are nominated for the MFG's marquee Best Picture/Best Movie for Grownups Awards, alongside Paramount's Gladiator II and September 5 (with four noms each) and Netflix's Emilia Pérez (with three noms).
