A renewed sense of luxury and comfort now defines the Celebrity Eclipse, which recently emerged from an extensive refurbishment at Damen Shipyard in Brest, France. This state-of-the-art vessel has expanded its capacity by introducing ten new interior cabins, enhancing the guest experience through additional accommodations. Strategically placed on decks six, nine, 12, and 15, these new staterooms have transformed previously designated communal spaces such as the internet café, tech shop, card room, and video arcade into private retreats for travelers.
Beyond structural modifications, the ship boasts a range of upgrades that redefine onboard leisure and relaxation. Public areas and cabins alike have been refreshed with new carpets, upholstery, and furniture, creating a more inviting atmosphere throughout the vessel. Notably, the exclusive Retreat concept within the ship has undergone significant enhancements, offering VIP suite guests access to a brand-new lounge on deck five and a secluded solarium on deck 16. Following its transatlantic journey in late March, the Celebrity Eclipse underwent three weeks of drydock work in early May before welcoming passengers back on April 27, 2025, for a vibrant summer season exploring Northern Europe’s stunning landscapes.
As this remarkable ship embarks on voyages from Amsterdam, it ushers passengers into enchanting destinations like the British Isles, Scandinavia, the Baltic Sea, and Iceland. By late autumn, the Celebrity Eclipse will transition to Mediterranean waters for a brief seasonal stint before relocating to North America in early November. During the winter months of 2025-26, the vessel will set sail from Fort Lauderdale, offering captivating four- to eight-night cruises to the Bahamas and Caribbean islands. Looking ahead, the Celebrity Eclipse is poised to return to European shores in 2026, continuing its legacy of providing exceptional journeys across diverse ports of call.
