Reclaiming the Stage: A Response to Canceled Festivals
The Locals Only Music Festival is a direct response to the recent cancellation of two prominent Chattanooga music festivals. Recognizing the void left by these events, the organizers at Five Wits Brewing Company and Barrelhouse Ballroom have stepped up to create a new platform that celebrates the city's vibrant music scene. "Given how Chattanooga lost its two main music festivals this past year, we decided to step up and throw one of our own," said Mike Monen, one of the festival's organizers. "The vision for the festival came from a desire to raise awareness about the incredible music talent we have right here in Chattanooga, and to create a space where these bands can support one another."Showcasing Chattanooga's Diverse Musical Talents
The Locals Only Music Festival will feature an impressive lineup of sixteen local Chattanooga bands and musicians, representing a wide range of genres and styles. From the soulful grooves of YGTUT & The Plugs to the high-energy performances of Behold The Brave and Strung Like a Horse, the festival promises to captivate audiences with the depth and versatility of Chattanooga's musical landscape.Building a Vibrant Community Celebration

"We all recognize that there's so much that Chattanooga has to offer, and we just thought 'Well, we've got this space, why don't we be the ones to make it happen?'.
