An iconic celebration of electronic music unfolded in Miami this past weekend as Ultra Music Festival marked its silver jubilee. Despite the rain that dampened Bayfront Park on the final day, enthusiasts from across the globe danced and cheered to their favorite artists. The festival featured over 140 musical acts spread across seven stages. Renowned DJs such as Tiesto, Alesso, Afrojack, Skrillex, Zedd, and Martin Garrix delivered electrifying performances, captivating the crowds with their signature tracks. The event wrapped up with a grand finale by Dutch DJ Martin Garrix, who extended the show into the night to compensate for weather delays.
Friday night kicked off under perfect skies with performances from award-winning artists like Tiesto, Alesso, and Afrojack gracing the main stage. As the weekend progressed, Saturday brought even more excitement when nine-time Grammy winner Skrillex took the stage, playing hits like "Bangarang" to an ecstatic crowd. The night ended with Hardwell, one of the world’s top DJs, setting the tone for what was to come next.
Sunday, however, presented challenges as inclement weather forced fans to seek shelter temporarily. Yet, the spirit of the festival remained unbroken. Zedd lit up the main stage with his chart-topping songs, including "I Want You To Know," "Stay," and "The Middle." Closing out the festival was Martin Garrix, whose performance stretched longer than planned to make up for earlier disruptions caused by the rain.
Adding to the festivities was a memorable performance by Kaskade, who collaborated with Palm Beach-based Mary Lou’s during a heavy downpour. In a unique twist, Kaskade hosted a pop-up boat party where he performed his hit "Raining" for 150 fans, all dancing under a tarp.
The Ultra Music Festival is set to return in 2026, promising another three-day extravaganza filled with global talent and unforgettable moments. Fans eagerly await the announcement of the lineup, knowing that each year brings something new and exciting to the table.
