Guiding the News Gathering Team

As the Senior Manager of News Operations, you will be responsible for leading and managing the station's news photographers, media managers, and editors. This involves providing valuable feedback to ensure the highest quality production values in all newscasts. Your expertise in coordinating schedules, allocating resources, and troubleshooting equipment issues will be crucial in maintaining a seamless news operation.

Your role will extend beyond the day-to-day management of the team. You will serve as the primary news contact to the engineering and IT departments, ensuring that any technical challenges are swiftly addressed. Orchestrating Special Event Coverage

Fostering Vendor Relationships

As the Senior Manager of News Operations, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining vendor relationships, supporting the negotiation of services. Your expertise in labor union contracts and your understanding of new and emerging newsgathering technologies, such as cellular-bonded technology, will be highly valued in this role. Qualifications and Requirements
