The third annual Future of Music showcase, presented by JBL and part of the SXSW festival, returns to Austin’s ACL Live at the Moody Theater from March 11 to March 14. This year's event features an eclectic mix of artists from various genres and backgrounds, highlighting the future of music with electrifying performances.

A Night of Breakthrough Performances

Benson Boone kicks off the festivities on night one, fresh from his Grammy performance of "Beautiful Things." He shares the stage with Hannah Bahng, Laila!, and jasmine.4.t, showcasing a blend of pop, R&B, and indie-rock sounds. DJ Mel will keep the energy high between sets. Each artist brings their unique flair, ensuring an unforgettable evening for attendees.The following night, country sensation Megan Moroney takes the lead, joined by Stephen Wilson Jr., Larkin Poe, and Brittney Spencer. The night highlights the resurgence of country music with modern twists, while DJs Moonshine and Prison Rodeo add rhythmic beats that keep the crowd engaged.

Cultural Fusion on Stage

March 13 sees Ivan Cornejo take center stage, representing Mexican American heritage through his soulful tunes. Accompanied by CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Nsqk, and GALE, this night blends Latin rhythms with contemporary sounds. DJs Riobamba injects vibrant beats into the mix, creating a truly immersive experience.Closing out the showcase is Nigerian star Rema, whose dynamic performances have earned him international acclaim. Alongside rising Atlanta artist Anycia, Tennessee rapper Samara Cyn, and lyricist AJ McQueen, the final night promises to be a high-energy celebration of global talent. DJ Annabelle Kline ensures the night ends on a memorable note.

Beyond the performances, the Future of Music showcase offers more than just concerts. Attendees can visit JBL’s Sound Bodega for exclusive interviews, live sessions, and hands-on experiences with new audio technology. Rivian's electric vehicles make a grand appearance, celebrating the launch of its California Dune Edition models. Additionally, iHeartRadio and Colossal support the event, contributing to initiatives like America’s Next Top Hitmaker, which raised over $2.1 million for MusiCares.
