Inspired during her early college years, Banda envisioned combining fashion and music to create something special. When tasked with organizing a fundraising event for Audrey Price’s music videos, she saw an opportunity to bring her idea to life. "It was everything I hoped it would be," Banda remarked, expressing her joy at seeing the concept materialize into a tangible success.
Audrey Price, a freshman studying rhetoric and writing, is the driving force behind UTalent Records. Known for her authentic and unpolished style, Price writes songs that resonate deeply with listeners. Her performances are characterized by simplicity and sincerity, often featuring outfits sourced from thrift stores. "I don’t go for fancy dresses or heels," Price explained. "I stick to my lucky boots, which have become a signature part of my stage presence."
The funds raised will be instrumental in bringing Price’s music videos to life. Harrison Hardy, a freshman majoring in radio-television-film, collaborates closely with Price as a videographer. He emphasized the significance of working with fellow creatives, reflecting the collaborative culture at the university. "This project embodies everything I love about Texas—its artistry, its filmmakers, and its themes," Hardy noted, highlighting the alignment of personal passions with professional aspirations.
