The End of Free Parking at Ruoff Music Center
2024-11-21
The Ruoff Music Center, once a haven for free parking in the fields, is now undergoing a significant change. Changes posted on its website indicate that general parking will no longer be included with concert tickets and will need to be purchased separately. This transition will commence with the start of the 2025 season, although the outdoor venue doesn't have a scheduled show until May 24th when Sessanta, Primus, Puscifer, and A Perfect Circle are set to perform.

What We Know About Ruoff Music Center's Parking Policies

General Parking

In the past, parking at Ruoff Music Center was free. However, starting from 2025, general parking will cost $20 per vehicle if purchased online in advance. On the day of the shows, parking passes will be available for $25 with a credit card. VIP and Premier parking options, which offer easier entry and exit, have been available as upgrades for years.

For instance, VIP parking for Thomas Rhett's June 14th show is priced at $125, while for Rod Stewart's August 9th show, it is $75. Premier parking for Rhett is currently $65, and for Stewart, it is $55. These prices vary by show, highlighting the venue's flexibility in catering to different events.

Rideshare and Drop-off

Yes, you can take a rideshare to Ruoff Music Center. Request to be dropped off at Gate 2A, which is located north of the intersection of Boden Road and 146th Streets. The same rules apply if you are being dropped off by a friend or family member. If you are dropping someone off, simply inform the gate attendants or police officers, and they will let you through, as stated on the venue's website.

This provides convenience for attendees who prefer not to drive or park their own vehicles. It also ensures a smooth flow of traffic and enhances the overall concert experience.

Lawn Chair Policy

This year, personal chairs of any kind are not allowed inside the venue. However, blankets and tarps will still be permitted on a show-by-show basis for those who want to avoid sitting directly on the grass.

Rentals of lawn chairs, which were available in past seasons, cost $15 per chair. This option gives attendees the chance to have a more comfortable seating arrangement without violating the venue's rules.

Location of Ruoff Music Center

The amphitheater, formerly known as Deer Creek (and Verizon, and Klipsch), is located at 12880 E. 146th St. in Noblesville. Its convenient location makes it easily accessible for concertgoers from various areas.

Whether you are a local or traveling from afar, knowing the exact location of the venue is essential for a hassle-free experience. It allows you to plan your journey and arrive on time for the show.
