Fort Collins' Vibrant Music Celebration Returns with Silent Disco and More
2025-03-16

A unique music experience is set to captivate the city of Fort Collins as FoCoMX returns for its 17th year. This event promises an immersive weekend filled with diverse sounds, featuring over 420 bands across 40 venues in downtown Fort Collins. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a wide array of genres, discovering both established and emerging Colorado artists. The festival’s inclusive design caters to all musical preferences, offering everything from intimate performances to large-scale concerts.

This year's festival highlights exceptional talent through various special events. Among these are performances by renowned groups like Flobots and DENM, alongside farewell shows from beloved local acts such as INTHEWHALE. Additionally, the Silent Disco stage at The Exchange presents a thrilling competition among 16 DJs, including some of Colorado's top talents. Meanwhile, four youth stages at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery showcase young performers, with one stage entirely managed by young people themselves. These elements ensure that visitors not only enjoy great music but also witness the growth and development of new artistic voices.

Beyond entertainment, FoCoMX serves as a platform supporting musicians and fostering community spirit. Proceeds fund important initiatives such as paying performers fairly, contributing to FoCoMA’s InTune Musician Wellness Program, and reinvesting in future opportunities for artists. Tickets remain affordable, priced at $60 if purchased before April 17 and increasing to $75 afterward. Those wishing to participate without cost may volunteer, gaining access while contributing meaningfully to the event. Through collaboration, creativity, and shared passion, FoCoMX exemplifies how art can unite communities and inspire positive change.
