FRIDAY'S EVENTS

At Wake the Dead Coffeehouse, a haven for coffee and culture, various events take place. The "Honoring Austin’s Vibrant Dance Community" film screening kicks off at 5 p.m., offering a unique cultural experience. Alongside this, the Free Range Farmers Market operates from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., bringing together local produce and a lively atmosphere. Roughhouse Brewing hosts Friday Pie Day from 5 - 8 p.m., where delicious pies are paired with their fine brews. The Wake the Dead Coffeehouse also features Live Music on the Patio with Mandatory Zen, Gumbasso Profundo, and The Not Sures at 7 p.m., providing a musical backdrop to the evening. Wineaux Wine Bar welcomes Missoula Slim with live music at 7 p.m., adding to the evening's entertainment. Cheatham Street Warehouse presents The Droptines with doors opening at 8 p.m. and tickets priced at $15, available at cheathamstreet.com. This show is for those 18 and above. Riley’s Tavern hosts Fourth Fridays with Prairie Rattlers from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., making it a great way to start the weekend.

Devil’s Backbone Tavern kicks off the Thanksgiving Dance Weekend with the Hog Slop String Band on Friday at 7 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. and music starts at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $20 and are available at devilsbackbonetavern.com/livemusic. Duett’s Texas Club welcomes Gabacho with Los Desechos on Saturday at 7 - 11:55 p.m. Tickets are $22 and can be obtained at duettstx.com/music.

SATURDAY'S EVENTS

Saturday Wonder World Cave hosts a Flea Market from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering a chance to find unique treasures. Roughhouse Brewing releases Pitch Black – Blackberry Cave Beer at 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., featuring the fall 2024 fruited cave beer with a delicious blackberry twist. Industry SMTX welcomes Kelany Bryant from 1 - 3 p.m., where one can enjoy brunch, mimosas, and live music. Mandy Rowden performs at Roughhouse Brewing from 1 - 4 p.m., adding to the musical offerings. Wake the Dead Coffeehouse presents Live Music with Allen Sosa at 4 p.m., creating a serene musical atmosphere. Devil’s Backbone Tavern continues the Thanksgiving Dance Weekend with the Hog Slop String Band at 7 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. and music starts at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $20 and are available at devilsbackbonetavern.com/livemusic. Patio Dolcetto welcomes Milan Moorman with live music from 7 - 10 p.m., providing a different musical experience. Ragnar’s On the Compound hosts TRIBUTE NIGHT: Seventh Son - Iron Maiden with Blackened - Metallica from 8 - 11:45 p.m. Tickets are $10 and available at ragnarsotc.com. Riley’s Tavern presents The Billy Dee Band from 8 - 11 p.m., keeping the musical momentum going. The Porch presents It Came From Mars with The Churn, Humble House, the Anapests, and Nightspiral at 8 p.m. It's 21+ with no cover for those 21 and above and $5 for those 18 and above.

Happy Cow welcomes Sterling Ezra on August 23 from 8:30 - 11:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 - $10 and available at happycowbar.com.

SUNDAY'S EVENTS

La Cima hosts the Farmer’s Market on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., showcasing local produce. Roughhouse Brewing's Sunday Runday starts at 10:30 a.m., allowing people to drop in or join and receive a punch card for freebies. Duett’s Texas Club offers Brunch Brunch Brunch from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with live music from 1 - 3 p.m. The Taproom celebrates Every Sunday is Sudsday with brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and draft pints priced at $4. Wake the Dead Coffeehouse presents Adventures in Experimenturntablism with Chief and TheDoomsDayDevice at 11 a.m., offering a unique musical exploration. Green Heron Bookshop hosts Coffee & Crosswords at 11:30 a.m., providing a relaxing morning activity with free coffee/tea available for purchase or bring your own. Devil’s Backbone Tavern holds Tish Hinojosa Album Release Show at 1 p.m. with a free show and an RSVP available at devilsbackbonetavern.com/livemusic. Industry SMTX welcomes Candace Hastings from 1 - 3 p.m. for brunch, mimosas, and live music. Wake the Dead Coffeehouse also has 2.42 Church SMTX - Bible Study at 2 p.m. Riley’s Tavern hosts Kayla Jane’s Pickers Circle on November 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. And Wake the Dead Coffeehouse concludes the weekend with Women’s DAA at 5 p.m.
