This talented ensemble released their full-length sophomore LP, Here It Comes, during the summer and will now grace the stage of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Before the Album Entries
In 2022, the group first came together and collaborated on the song “More and More” for CJ Camerieri’s solo project, CARM. The trumpeter, with his extensive experience as a sideman for Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, Ben Folds, Sting, and the National, brought his unique musical prowess. Meanwhile, Trever Hagen obtained his accreditation through collaborations with Bon Iver, Mouse on Mars, Marijuana Deathsquads, and many other notable acts. As for the group’s leading lady, Edie Brickell’s ‘80s spawned New Bohemians solidified their status by releasing the fan-favorite album Shooting Rubberbands at the Stars. Over time, she partnered with comedian and bluegrass musician Steve Martin and put out two albums. Heavy MakeUp initially offered their self-titled LP in 2023 and then made their debut at the iconic Newport Folk Festival in support of the set.The Improvisational Approach
