Under his guidance, MPT has launched innovative projects such as Thinkport and the Maryland Center for Media Literacy & Education, which have become vital assets for educators and learners alike. Additionally, Unger spearheaded the creation of the Maryland State Ad Agency, enhancing the station's role in promoting public safety and supporting local businesses.
