"I'm A Celebrity" Star Dean McCullough on Ant McPartlin's "Telling Off"
2024-12-02
On Sunday night, Dean found himself leaving the camp as the second campmate to be sent packing. During Monday's edition of Good Morning Britain, he took a moment to reflect on his time in the jungle. In the camp, the Radio 1 DJ was selected to participate in no less than seven Bushtucker Trials. It's clear that he didn't always handle these challenges with ease.

Ant's Tough Love and Dean's Response

In one remarkable instance, Ant showed Dean some tough love before he embarked on a challenge. Ant told him, "You can only change the narrative by sticking with it and getting on with it." Dean admitted to GMB, "When Ant was telling me off for saying 'I'm a celebrity get me out of here', it felt like a proper telling off. I felt like he meant it. So I did what I was told, and I wanted to win him back around, which I think I did in the end."During the trials, Dean faced various difficulties. He explained, "My annoyance came across on screen and I was quite unprofessional. You get to a point where you're like 'What are you doing?'." These moments added a layer of complexity to his time in the jungle.Just 10 contestants are still in the current series of I'm A Celebrity following the exits of Jane Moore and Dean last week. I'm A Celebrity continues on Monday night at 9pm on ITV1. The remaining contestants will continue to face challenges and create more memorable moments in the jungle.
