Josh's musical journey includes early studies in oboe, saxophone, drum set, and baritone horn during high school. Outside the classroom, he mastered ancient rudimental drumming techniques. Enlisting in the U.S. Army, Josh rose to the rank of Master Sergeant and served as one of three Drum Majors for the Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, known as "The Official Escort to the President." Despite his military commitments, Josh remains active in the Irish music scene. He performs regularly with the Old Bay Ceili Band and has shared the stage with renowned artists like John Doyle, Paddy Keenan, and Kevin Crawford.
