Last Thursday marked the premiere night of the Capri Theatre. Even if you missed the opening weekend, don't worry as the movie will be showing here for at least two more weeks. There are two showtimes on Thanksgiving night - 6:15 p.m. and 9:25 p.m. Todd Glass, the General Manager of Fondren Block, assures that they are fully staffed and ready to handle the expected busy week.The Capri Theatre offers a special treat for moviegoers with its Wicked-themed offerings. There is a Wicked backdrop for taking pictures, a unique drink menu inspired by the movie, and of course, their regular concession menu. This adds an extra layer of excitement to the movie-watching experience.
Some students took advantage of their holiday break to catch Wicked. Friends like Hallie Sessums and Jessica Wood came together as a friendship reunion. Wood said, "I came into town from Colorado, and we were thinking about seeing this movie but weren't sure due to time constraints. But our waiter at Aplos recommended it, and it turned out to be really good."
