Jill Jacobson was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas, and later in Dallas. She had a passion for the arts from a young age. She attended the University of Texas in Austin, where she earned a B.S. in Radio, TV and Film Performance. This educational foundation laid the groundwork for her future success in the entertainment world.After completing her studies, she made the bold decision to move to Los Angeles. It was here that her career truly took off as she was cast in the title role of the cult classic film Nurse Sherri.

Television Career

Jacobson's television career was nothing short of impressive. She had roles on two Star Trek shows, Falcon Crest and The New Gidget. On Falcon Crest, she played Erin Jones in 22 episodes from 1985-87, adding depth to the CBS primetime soap about a wealthy California wine family.Simultaneously, she took on the role of Larue Wilson on The New Gidget from 1986-87, a sequel to the Sally Field-led 1960s ABC soap opera about a teen surfer. Her co-stars spoke highly of her, with Caryn Richman saying, "Jill's comic timing was brilliant. And her enthusiasm and love of life made our time together on set joyful."She also appeared on other popular TV shows such as Star Trek: The Next Generation in 1989 and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine in 1996.
