Ayers was not only a well-known entertainment reporter but also a host at KBLA 1580 Talk Radio. Her passing on Thursday, Dec. 5, has left a profound void in the hearts of many.

KBLA Radio host Tavis Smiley confirmed on behalf of Ayers' family that her departure was a great loss. "Robin was a bright light. You could see her radiant smile through the radio. We all respected her immense talent, loved her jovial spirit," he added. Ayers joined KBLA Radio in March 2022 and hosted the show "The RA Report with Robin Ayers" from Monday to Friday, covering entertainment news and interviewing celebrity guests.Before that, she worked as a reporter and entertainment correspondent for EURweb for three and a half years. The outlet expressed their deep sorrow, stating, "With heavy hearts, the entertainment journalism community mourns the passing of Robin Ayers.
