Grimes’s journey with Hearst began in California, where he initially worked as a newscast producer before transitioning into managerial roles. Prior to joining WCVB-TV in 2020, he held the position of president and general manager at WGAL-TV, an NBC affiliate serving Harrisburg-Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Additionally, his experience includes tenure as the news director at WPBF-TV in West Palm Beach, Florida, and dual roles managing WPTZ-TV/WNNE-TV in Plattsburgh, New York, and Burlington, Vermont.
