The 66-credit Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) degree in Baking and Pastry Arts includes:

▸52.5 credits of Baking and Pastry Arts requirement

▸7.5 credits of Liberal Arts requirement

▸6 credits of Business Administration requirement

You’ll gain a hands-on experiential foundation in baking and pastry arts, including specialty breads, confectionery arts, making desserts, design, advanced baking principles, menus, and café gourmet foods.

As part of your degree, you’ll gain real-world experience with a semester-long internship in the kitchens and dining rooms of one of more than 2,000 CIA-approved businesses, as well as CIA’s award-winning public dining room.
