This event is part of Blumhouse's "Halfway to Halloween Film Festival." Movie Mate allows theater-goers to utilize their mobile phones as a secondary screen while watching Megan. Attendees can interact with a Megan-themed AI chatbot, participate in trivia quizzes, and access exclusive behind-the-scenes content.

Some critics argue that using phones in theaters disrupts the shared viewing experience.
