According to Voigt, she was completely taken aback by the design. In August 2022, Jack Henry took her ring shopping as he wanted to understand her preferences. She initially chose a ring with an oval center stone and a halo setting that resembled a marquise, exuding a vintage charm she adored. Over the years, she showed him other rings she loved, one of which led to a momentary panic. He responded urgently, making her think he had already bought the 2022-chosen ring, which she still loved. Eventually, Hendrix worked with a jeweler to create a custom design that combined details from the original ring and other options Voigt had shown him, seamlessly blending vintage charm with modern elements.When he proposed with the ring, Voigt was filled with surprise and love. She believes the ring is classy, elegant, and the non-perfectly circular bands complement the diamond's cut.

Symbolic Double Band

The ring's unique double band holds significant meaning for the couple's love story. The top gold band can be detached and is a separate ring. When combined, it represents both of them coming together to create something beautiful and uniquely them.

Proposal Location's Significance

Sarasota is where Voigt was born and raised, and Ringling is one of her favorite places. It was also one of the first places she took Jack Henry when he came to Sarasota for the first time after they started dating in 2018. They took Polaroid pictures there that she keeps in a scrapbook. For him to propose at Ringling was an exceptionally special moment.As for the wedding, Voigt and Hendrix plan to have an intimate celebration and aim to get married in 2025.
