Koch recounts that he was in bed, unable to sleep, fearing he might miss the call. At 4:45, he and his partner turned on YouTube and watched in anticipation. When his name was called by presenters Mindy Kaling and Morris Chestnut, they screamed with joy and hugged, overcome with excitement. He admits to having known there was a slim chance but still being anxious.

Just a few years ago, he was teaching yoga and doing other jobs. Now, his life has changed dramatically with this major TV show and the Golden Globe nomination.
