As Playboi Carti's DJ announced, "I am music is here." This marked the first time fans got to hear the album in its raw state at the festival's 10th anniversary. Rolling Loud founder Tariq Cherif had earlier revealed plans for Carti to play the album on Instagram. Although the title of the track remains unknown, it was produced by F1LTHY and another new track by Metro Boomin. Carti closed out the headlining performance with the last new song titled "Drugs Got Me Numb," leaving the audience in awe.During his performance, Playboi Carti sent users watching Twitch and Amazon Music's live streams into a commotion. The comment section was filled with fans praising the previews, which showcased the evolution of the superstar's sound. DJ Akademiks tweeted on X, "We witnessing history.. Playboi Carti headling a whole festival and PREVIEWING new sh*t, not even relying on hits. This n***a Goated."

Setlist Highlights

Carti's set included the performance of "Type Sh*t," a popular collaboration with Future and Metro Boomin. He also played "Like Me," a 2020 cut featuring Lil Uzi Vert and A$AP Rocky. Another hit from the Whole Lotta Red album, "Rockstar Made," was performed. "Carnival" from Vultures was included, with Carti claiming it as his song. Additionally, he performed "Timeless," a new song with The Weeknd and Madonna, and "KETAMINE," a previously released track set to appear on I AM MUSIC. In September, he announced that Ye would produce the new album. Carti shared that I AM MUSIC will be a featureless album, making it a highly anticipated release. This new album will mark Carti's first in four years, adding to the excitement surrounding it.
