Beyond the competitive spirit, the event shines a spotlight on important social issues. Eleven dogs with special needs, such as Jolene, an American pit bull terrier using a wheelchair, and Sprinkle, an Australian shepherd mix who is both blind and hearing impaired, will participate in the Bowl. Additionally, segments like "Pup Close and Personal" delve into the rescue stories behind some of these furry football players, further emphasizing the importance of adopting pets from shelters.
