Idea Factory International has unveiled the opening sequences of the Re;Birth trilogy, comprising Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1, Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation, and Re;Birth3: V Generation. These titles are set to arrive on the PlayStation 4 in Western markets during 2025. The games have already been accessible on PC via Steam. This series offers narratives that intertwine loosely, featuring goddess rivalries, corporate mockery, and dungeon exploration.

The journey begins with Re;Birth1 +, where Neptune, after being expelled from her celestial domain by fellow CPUs (Console Patron Units) and suffering memory loss, embarks on a quest to recover her powers. She is joined by familiar characters like Compa and IF, along with Histoire, a sentient book. In Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation, the narrative shifts to younger CPU Candidates amidst rising corruption and a mysterious group named ASIC, creating a darker atmosphere. Lastly, Re;Birth3: V Generation places Neptune in an alternate dimension reminiscent of the late '80s, facing adversaries known as the Seven Sages.

Battle systems in the Re;Birth trilogy have been refined from their original PlayStation 3 counterparts. Players can manage up to four active characters in turn-based combat scenarios, rotate reserves, and create complex combo strings through customizable attack slots. Additionally, the "Plans" system allows players to modify gameplay elements such as enemy difficulty, item drops, and dungeon configurations across all three games.

A passive real-time mini-game called Stella's Dungeon also returns, enabling characters to explore and collect loot autonomously. Voiceovers will be available in both English and Japanese languages, complemented by English subtitles. The ESRB rating remains to be determined.

With its rich narratives and advanced battle mechanics, the Re;Birth trilogy promises an engaging JRPG experience, expanding upon the original foundations while introducing new dimensions and challenges for players to explore.
