What Kody Really Thinks About Janelle
He expressed that Janelle doesn't trust him because she would take advantage if she could. He even admitted to having thought about screwing her but added that his wife with a conscience, Robyn, wouldn't let him. Meri then stated that Kody had explained that when dividing the property, each of them - him, Robyn, Meri, and Janelle - would have an equal part. However, Janelle isn't convinced as Kody had previously been secretive about the property's status, leading her to obtain a lawyer.During the episode, Janelle expressed her concerns, saying, "We're finally paying off this dang property in Flagstaff, but now there's this big fight about how to divide it. I don't know what to expect from Kody. He's been kind of an a— about the property, so he might be an a— as we move forward. Who knows?" She first confided in Christine Brown when Kody was keeping her in the dark and said, "If Kody's not willing to buy me out, then I'm going to have to do something with it. But we've got to pay it off and he's not talking to me about it. So I think I'm going to have to lawyer up, because I think that's the only way I'm ever going to get any kind of decision out of him."
Since confirming their split in December 2022, Janelle and Kody haven't been on good terms. Earlier in season 19, Janelle confessed that she doesn't "even know who he is anymore, really." While Christine and Meri have left the plural marriage, Robyn is still married to Kody. In December 2023, she expressed how she felt "abandoned" by her former sister wives.
