Today is the last day of rifle deer hunting season at Casa Ice Blue. Thankfully, our house made it through another year without being hit by a stray bullet. In fact, there wasn't much gunfire this year. It might have been due to the cold and windy weather. Deer have a natural aversion to wind as it makes it difficult for them to detect nearby predators, whether on two legs or four. That's why they prefer to stay hidden on breezy days. These animals are truly smart.They have evolved to adapt to their environment and use their senses to stay safe. Their ability to sense danger and take appropriate action is a testament to their survival instincts. It's fascinating to observe how they navigate through different situations.
