Billy Eichner is making waves with a story about his interaction with Travis Kelce. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Dec. 5, an unexpected moment unfolded. Eichner vividly describes the moment. "All of a sudden, I feel a very strong, like bro-y, pat on my back. It was a masculine man, Jimmy. I turn around. I'm 6’3, right? So I'm not used to looking up and actors are pretty short. When I turn around, it's Travis Kelce. In a very loud, booming voice in a house full of the most famous people in the world, Travis Kelce looks at me and goes, 'Jimmy on the motherf—ing Street! I love you, man.' This literally happened, and he's beaming. He's so happy to see me. And it's Travis Kelce, who, I'm not expecting like that he would know who I am at all, and he says, 'Jimmy on the Street.'" Eichner couldn't bring himself to correct Kelce as he said it with such confidence. He laughed about the situation, noting that Kelce seemed like a fan despite the mix-up.After the interaction, Eichner continued with his night, but Kelce kept passing by and fist-bumping him. "I don't want to stereotype gay men, but I don't ordinarily communicate via fist-bump, but I kept doing it," Eichner quipped.

At one point, Eichner thought Kelce might have seen Jimmy Kimmel and gotten their names mixed up. However, Kimmel said he didn't think that was the case. "I don't think he talked to me at all," Kimmel said. "No, I don't think I did talk to him." Eichner added that he did offer Kelce an open invitation to appear with him on 'Jimmy on the Street.' "You can join us," he said. Kimmel replied with a joke, "That way we can really confuse him!"
