2024-12-02
Tulisa, a 36-year-old pop star, had been an active participant in the ITV1 jungle reality show. However, during Monday (02.12.24) night's episode, she was voted off by the viewing public. Speaking immediately after leaving the camp, she shared her thoughts. She said, "I’m not gonna lie, it is tough in there so leaving is still a happy thing!" Her time in the jungle has made her truly appreciate life on the outside and has taught her the importance of staying true to herself. She added, "I just think you’re gonna be more grateful for the food you eat, the people around you. You don’t realise how good you’ve had it." [I’ve learned] just to stay strong with my convictions, it can be testing in here. So just be yourself."
Experiencing the Bushtucker Trials
During her time in the jungle, Tulisa took part in two Bushtucker Trials. When asked about how bad they were compared to her expectations, she confirmed that they were indeed challenging. She said, "Yeah, yeah it was bad. I didn’t realise the eating trial was going to be as bad. I really thought I could hold [my screaming] down and it wouldn’t come out til closer to the end." Despite the difficulties, she noted that there was a "super happy, positive" atmosphere among her campmates. She said, "Everyone was just super happy, positive. I think we were all just very mindful of what each other was going through and that was just really helpful. Very vulnerable from the start, I was inspired to be vulnerable."Backing a Contestant for the Crown
Asked who she would like to win the entire series, Tulisa admitted that she is backing 'Dancing on Ice' star Oti Mabuse. She said, "Oti. She’s like my earth angel in there, she’s like my rock. One of the best humans I’ve ever met in my life."Surviving in the Jungle Atmosphere
Tulisa's time in the jungle has been a unique experience. She has witnessed the highs and lows of the competition and has formed connections with her fellow campmates. The atmosphere in the camp was one of support and understanding. As she said, "Everyone was looking out for each other, and that made the whole experience more bearable. It was a tough journey, but we all got through it together."Leaving the Camp and Looking Ahead
After leaving the camp, Tulisa is looking forward to the next chapter in her life. She has gained a new perspective and a deeper understanding of herself. She said, "This experience has changed me in so many ways. I’m grateful for everything I’ve gone through and I’m ready to take on whatever comes next."
