Two Quincy Notre Dame Seniors Named Illinois All-State Musicians

Two Quincy Notre Dame students have achieved remarkable feats by being named Illinois All-State musicians through individual auditions held in October across the state. These talented individuals will have the opportunity to perform in Peoria during the Illinois Music Educators Association annual conference from January 30th to February 1st.

Cayson Peters

Cayson Peters, a senior, is the son of Tyler and Bryn Peters. He showcases his musical prowess by singing bass in the QND Concert Chorale and Men’s Glee. His exceptional talent led him to be selected to sing in the All-State Honors Chorus. His deep and resonant voice adds a unique dimension to the musical ensemble. With his dedication and hard work, he has earned this prestigious honor and is set to make a mark at the upcoming conference.

Elizabeth Strieker

Elizabeth Strieker, also a senior, is the daughter of Tom and Kim Strieker. She sings alto in the QND Concert Chorale and Women’s Glee. Her talent was recognized when she was selected to sing in the All-State Chorus. Her melodious alto voice blends seamlessly with the other voices in the choir, creating a harmonious sound.

Her selection as an All-State musician is a source of pride for her family and school. It is a reflection of her dedication and talent, and she is sure to shine at the conference.
