Upon inspection, not only was the driver found to be under the influence and in possession of illegal substances, but there was also a baby spider monkey discovered inside the car. On a chilly winter night, as darkness enveloped the highway, a CHP officer noticed a Rolls Royce Ghost traveling at an alarming speed on northbound SR-99, just north of Avenue 17. The officer decided to pull over the vehicle for exceeding the speed limit. Upon approaching the car, it became evident that the driver, identified as 27-year-old Ali Mused Adel Mohamed, was under the influence. Further investigation revealed five cell phones, bags, and containers of cannabis scattered on the hood of the car.

The most astonishing discovery, however, was a baby spider monkey, estimated to be about one month old, wearing a pink onesie. According to Modera CHP spokesperson Sergio Moreno, the primate was clinging to the driver. Primates are prohibited as pets in California, making this situation even more perplexing.
