Scheana Shay, now 39, takes us on a journey through some of her most memorable Hollywood experiences. In the Friday, Dec. 13 episode of her podcast Scheananigans, she shares how her 20s in Los Angeles were filled with unique routines and encounters with celebrities.

Notable Hollywood Memories

Friendship with Jesse Bradford and the Boys Group

Back in those days, Shay and her friends would spend their weekends in LA. Her friend was dating Jesse Bradford, and along with Ryan Phillippe and Breckin Meyer, they formed a boys group. Every Thursday, they would have a boy's dinner and then head out to the club. Shay and her girls decided to start their own tradition - a broke girls dinner at Dan Tanas. They would share a pasta and have just one glass of wine as 22 or 23-year-olds couldn't afford the full entrée. She even became friends with the maître d' of the restaurant, who would save a two-top table for them every Thursday. It was truly an iconic time. Sometimes, she's amazed at how well she remembers those years despite having gaps in her memory.

Close Friendship with Ryan Phillippe

During her 20s, Phillippe was a particularly close friend. While he was single and they were all hanging out, nothing romantic ever happened between them. There was a sleepover, but that was it. They remained just friends. PEOPLE has reached out to Phillippe's rep for comment.

Journey on Vanderpump Rules

In 2013, Shay joined VPR after getting out of a messy relationship with Eddie Cibrian (who was married to Brandi Glanville). The show's premiere saw Glanville confronting Shay about the affair. Since then, Shay has gone through various life events while on the show. She married and divorced Mike Shay and then married her current husband Brock Davies. In April 2021, they welcomed their first child, daughter Summer Moon Honey Davies, and got married in August 2022 with their daughter as the flower girl.

Cast Shakeup on Vanderpump Rules

Bravo recently announced a cast shakeup for season 12 of the series. After more than a decade, original cast members like Shay are being replaced with new faces who will take over Lisa Vanderpump's West Hollywood ventures at SUR and TomTom. Vanderpump, 64, expressed her gratitude for the past 12 years and looked forward to the next generation. Alex Baskin, executive producer of the show's production company 32 Flavors, said it was a thrill to build on the series' legacy with a new group of co-workers and friends.

Appearances on The Valley

PEOPLE also learned that Shay, along with former VPR stars Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz, will make appearances on The Valley. This show follows Brittany Cartwright, Jax Taylor and Kristen Doute, who started on VPR. It will be interesting to see how these connections play out.
