The journey between Vermillio and Sony Music began in 2023 with a groundbreaking project involving The Orb and David Gilmour. Fans were given the unique opportunity to create personalized remixes using Vermillio’s proprietary AI technology, adding a new dimension to the 2010 ambient album Metallic Spheres.

Vermillio’s flagship product, TraceID, plays a crucial role in protecting artists’ data and ensuring proper attribution. Through this tool, creators can maintain control over their work while exploring innovative ways to monetize their IP. Beyond its collaboration with Sony Music, Vermillio has also partnered with WME, a top talent agency, to prevent IP theft and identify new revenue streams for clients. Additionally, Vermillio collaborated with Sony Pictures to develop an AI engine that allowed fans to generate digital avatars inspired by the distinctive style of Spider-Verse animation. Each creation was meticulously tracked using TraceID, ensuring all works could be traced back to the original IP.
