A Very Maury Christmas 2024

Columbia's largest holiday market makes a grand return this weekend, marking its 10th year. Set at The Factory at Columbia, 101 N. James M. Campbell Blvd., it offers a shopping paradise with 80 curated vendors. Santa Claus and his Mini Makers are scheduled to make delightful appearances. Hosted by aMuse’um Children’s Museum, it runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The entrance fee is $10 for Saturday and $5 for Sunday. A VIP Preview Party presented by McDonald’s of Maury County takes place from 5:30-8 p.m. on Friday, granting early access to shop along with appetizers, wine, and Christmas music. Tickets for the VIP Preview Party are $45 and available at www.EventBrite.com. Proceeds will benefit aMuse’um.

It's a time when families and friends can come together to embrace the holiday spirit through shopping and meeting Santa.

The market showcases a wide variety of unique gifts and holiday decorations, making it a must-visit destination for all.

More holiday markets & events

Columbia's holiday spirit continues to thrive with more marketplaces to explore. At The Building Block School for the Arts, 1309 S. Main St., guests can have breakfast with Santa starting at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday and enjoy a performance of “Elfkin Christmas.” Tickets are available at www.BuildingBlockArts.com/ticket.

White Stone Academy, 2800 Trotwood Ave., hosts its Holiday Market from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, where one can find an array of crafts, jewelry, skin care products, and holiday ornaments.

Santa also makes a stop at Living on 6th, 113 E. 6th St., from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday for picture opportunities. Christmas trees are available for purchase at the Row & Co., 206 Depot. St., from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every weekend through Dec. 8. Call (931) 286-4411 for more information.

Movies in The Park at Armory Rec Center

Columbia Parks and Recreation brings a free Movies in The Park this weekend with Pixar's “Inside Out 2.” The screening, originally scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at Riverwalk Park, has been moved indoors to the Armory Recreation Center, 503 Carter St. Free popcorn will be served, and guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair. It's a great opportunity for families to enjoy a movie under the stars in a more comfortable indoor setting.

Twisted Copper Friendsgiving

Looking for a place to celebrate Thanksgiving a few days early or have nowhere to go? Twisted Copper Brewing Company, 109 S. Main St. in Mt. Pleasant, hosts Friendsgiving starting at 2 p.m. on Sunday. It's a potluck event, and a list of dishes being made or in need is available on Twisted Copper Brewing Company’s Facebook page or the Twisted Copper Friendsgiving event page.

It's a chance to come together with friends and enjoy a delicious spread while celebrating the holiday season.

The relaxed atmosphere of the brewery makes it a perfect venue for a Friendsgiving gathering.

Josh Keas will perform at Grinder’s Switch Winery, 510 N. Garden St., starting at 7 p.m. on Friday. November Blue will take the stage at McCreary’s Irish Pub & Eatery, 814 S. Main St., also starting at 7 p.m. on Friday. Dogs At Bay will perform at Joie’s Cajun Market, 1423 Mapleash Ave., starting at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Main St., starting at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Backlit will perform at Fozzy’s Bar & Grill, 150 Stephen P. Yokich Parkway in Spring Hill, starting at 8 p.m. on Saturday. Cave Street will perform at Twisted Copper Brewing Company, 119 S. Main St. in Mt. Pleasant, starting at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

The live entertainment lineup offers a variety of musical styles and genres, keeping the weekend filled with excitement.
