Church News brings a variety of activities for different groups. Greensburg Church of the Brethren hosts a fun and fellowship night from 5 to 7 p.m. on Mondays at 554 Stanton St., Southwest Greensburg. Mon Valley Paws sponsors its annual give-back program at 6 p.m. on Dec. 3 at Foster House, 1 Cook Road, Washington Township, Fayette County. Valley First Community Federal Credit Union is recognized as sponsor of the year, and five people and organizations are honored for their efforts on behalf of Mon Valley Paws. The Laurel Harmony Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, presents its holiday show at 2 p.m. on Dec. 14 at Maplewood Presbyterian Church, 108 Woodland Road, Hempfield. Senior Citizens
