Standing just behind Maura Higgins and Reverend Richard Coles during the trial, Ant McPartlin couldn't hide his utter disgust. The sight and smell of the blended surströmming, which is actually fermented Baltic Sea herring in Swedish culture, was truly a shock. As Dec Donnelly asked Coles to "polish off that whole cup," Coles gamely replied with a light-hearted "More tea vicar, right?" This moment became a memorable part of the show, with the rest of the cast sitting tableside and expressing their shock and disgust.
