Black Doves (Netflix)

Keira Knightley has always been a beauty, and Sarah Lancashire's performance in "Black Doves" is nothing short of extraordinary. Her role as Catherine Cawood in that police drama might be the finest TV performance of the 21st century. I started watching this show last night and it's been quite a ride so far. It's a fun spy series with action, humor, and more. But I was super exhausted and couldn't get far. I'll be tuning back in this weekend to share more. The cast of "Black Doves" is truly stellar, adding to the allure of this Netflix gem. It's a show that keeps you on the edge of your seat with its intriguing plot and great performances.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew (Disney+)

The first two episodes of "Star Wars: Skeleton Crew" were decent, though a bit slow to reach the good stuff. However, the idea of a Star Wars show aimed at kids with nods to Amblin Entertainment films like E.T. and The Goonies is a fun one. There's a lot of potential here for a truly enjoyable experience. I'm cautiously optimistic and can't wait to see where this show goes. Each episode of "Star Wars: Skeleton Crew" brings something new and exciting, whether it's a new character or a thrilling adventure. It's a great addition to the Star Wars universe.

Creature Commandos (Max)

Amanda Waller's decision to employ only monsters and non-human creatures for her dirty work has led to the creation of the Creature Commandos. This adult-oriented animated show is scoring high with critics and fans alike, with a 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and 79% from fans. I haven't started it yet, but it looks like a lot of fun.The Creature Commandos bring a unique and edgy element to the DC Comics universe. Their adventures are sure to keep viewers entertained from start to finish.

The Sticky (Prime Video)

Margo Martindale stars in "The Sticky," a heist series based on the true story of The Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist. Years ago, I thought this would make for a great film or TV series, and now it's here. This six-episode show offers a fun twist on the typical caper story."The Sticky" is a must-watch for fans of heist movies and TV shows. It's a unique and engaging story that keeps you hooked from beginning to end.

Fly Me To The Moon (Apple TV)

Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum star in this new Apple TV rom-com. The title is clever, as it references a Frank Sinatra song and the movie takes place during the Apollo 11 moon landing. Johansson looks amazing in this 1960s setting, bringing back memories of her role in Wes Anderson's "Asteroid City.""Fly Me To The Moon" is a charming and romantic movie that will take you on a journey through time and love.

Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story (Max)

This Saturday, the new Christopher Reeve documentary lands on Max. The tragic story of the Superman actor is a fascinating watch, with a 98% rating from both critics and audiences on Rotten Tomatoes. It's a must-see for fans of Christopher Reeve and the Superman franchise. The documentary offers a deep dive into the life and career of Christopher Reeve, making it a truly emotional and inspiring experience.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (Max)

I still haven't seen "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice," and I have to admit that I'm not a big fan of the original movie. It didn't seem that funny or scary to me. However, the sequel is now available on Max, and it might be worth a watch for those who enjoy these types of movies."Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" offers a new take on the beloved character, with its own unique charm and style.

Rivals (Netflix)

I'm including "Rivals" even though it's been out on Hulu/Disney+ for several weeks. This show has an amazing cast and I was completely hooked when I started watching it last week. It's one of the best shows of the year and definitely one of the steamiest. The story of "Rivals" takes place in the 1980s in the posh English countryside and deals with landed elite, scrappy TV personalities, and forbidden romance. It's a must-watch for fans of romantic dramas.

Outlander Season 7, Part 2 (Starz)

Claire and Jaime returned to Scotland at the beginning of this half-season, which was highly anticipated. However, their journey was short-lived as Claire soon sailed back to America. Despite the tragedy that befell our heroes, I'm still enjoying the back half of Season 7. The melodrama can be a bit much at times, but it's still a great show.New episodes of "Outlander Season 7, Part 2" land on Fridays on Starz, keeping fans entertained week after week.

Silo Season 2 (Apple TV)

I'm still catching up on Season 2 of "Silo," and while it's been good so far, I'm a bit nervous about the pacing and where the story is headed. But it's still great dystopian science-fiction that's worth your time. Each episode of "Silo Season 2" brings new mysteries and challenges, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.

Shrinking (Apple TV)

I love "Shrinking" because it's like a mirror to my own life. The relationship between Jimmy and his daughter Alice is so relatable. Harrison Ford's presence adds another layer to the show, making it even more enjoyable."Shrinking" is a top-notch dramedy that will make you laugh and cry. It's another win for Bill Lawrence.

Dune: Prophecy (HBO / MAX)

"Dune: Prophecy" looks good and the actors are talented, but I'm just not feeling it. The story seems a bit dull and the flashback episode was too much information about the Harkonnen sisters. I'm all caught up now and not sure what more there is to offer.Despite its initial promise, "Dune: Prophecy" has failed to capture my attention. It's a shame as the potential was there.
