Jasmine's Desire for Independence

During the exercise, Jasmine selected "independence" as the word she wanted to compromise on. She expressed her unhappiness and unappreciation, stating that she still didn't feel independent even after getting her Green Card. She was eager to get her driver's license to achieve the independence she sought. "To feel like I've regained my independence, I need you to get me a car," she told Gino. 1: Jasmine believed that having her own form of transportation would give her the freedom to be herself. She had recently received her Green Card, but reality had hit her hard as she still felt restricted. The Intimacy Issue
