Unveiling Amanda Seyfried's Mom Life
Finding Time Amidst Responsibilities
Amanda Seyfried revealed that she often gets time alone when her kids are at school. She mentioned, "When [the kids] are at school actually. I always kind of get something out of all the time that I have." It's during these moments that she can engage in activities like listening to a book on tape while feeding the animals on her farm. She explained, "Like when I’m feeding, I’m listening to a book on tape. So it feels like it’s selfish time, but really I’m feeding, so it’s still busy, it’s work."When her kids wake up in the morning, she enjoys spending time with them. She said, "But in the morning, when they wake up, I’ll sit and crochet while they eat their breakfast, watch Bluey, whatever they end up doing before school." And when they are at school, she makes the most of her alone time. She added, "I sit and I crochet, or I go to the gym in the barn, or I go out to coffee with a fellow parent or a friend upstate. I get a lot of alone time on a train when I go to the city. If I have to go to the city, I take the train. And I get like an hour and 40 minutes of alone time each way. And I’m always crocheting. Knitting, crocheting, that’s my lifestyle."Halloween Celebrations with the Family
Earlier this month, Seyfried showcased her kids' unique slippers on her Instagram Stories. Her daughter chose a pair of dog slippers that closely resembled their dog Finn, while her son Thomas debuted a pair of NSFW slippers that looked like two boobs. Seyfried's two kids stood side by side in the picture, with the image cut off at their chests. In an October interview with PEOPLE, Seyfried talked about her love of all things scary and how she celebrates spooky season with her family. She said, "Halloween’s huge in our house. We go all out. Every year, we have this party, and these local guys who do Christmas lights put in Halloween colors throughout the woods. We have candy, some inflatables, and this year we’re doing fog machines. Then we do our trick-or-treating in the nearest town on actual Halloween."
