During the Tuesday, Dec. 3 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Nightbitch actress was presented with an interesting internet campaign. Fans were hoping she would play Taylor Swift’s publicist, Tree Paine, in a biopic. Amy Adams, 50, was intrigued by the idea and expressed her excitement. “Uh, that would be amazing,” she mused. The fact that both she and the PR maven have red hair might have contributed to the fans' emotional investment. She continued, “That would be so fun. If it got me closer to Taylor, then that would be fun.” Adams also shared her journey of becoming a Swiftie at age 50. She admitted that she always “liked her and appreciated her” but after attending the Eras Tour, she fully converted. “I’m a Swiftie at 50, so I’m like a shifty 50 Swiftie, and I’m like ‘Isn’t that nifty?’ Now my daughter’s going, ‘Ooh, I hate this for you.’” The Academy Award-nominated actress added that she went from “normal” to “I’ll take all the friendship bracelets!”
