Amy and Ryan were inspired to decorate their home in dedication to Swift after watching the singer's 2023 The Eras Tour concert film. As Amy told CNN in 2023, "I walked out of [the Eras Tour concert film] saying two things. Number one: 'I want bangs,' and number two: 'We can do this for our lights display.' "
