Ariana Madix, the renowned reality TV star turned entrepreneur, is constantly on the move with her business aspirations. With a vision for the future of her and Vanderpump Rules costar Katie Maloney's sandwich shop Something About Her, she shared her thoughts at TheWrap's Power Women Summit.

Expanding the Sandwich Shop: A Dream in the Making

When asked about expanding their West Hollywood sandwich shop, which has become a hit among Bravo fans and tourists, Madix expressed her eagerness. "Not at the moment, but that would be an amazing opportunity. We're keeping our options open and looking forward to seeing where it goes," she said. Despite her busy schedule, she stays involved by communicating regularly through phone calls, texts, and emails. "A lot of the day-to-day operations happen that way. And whenever I'm in town, I make it a point to visit and say hello to everyone," she added.

Overcoming Logistical Hurdles

Something About Her opened its doors last May after years of planning. The development faced several logistical issues that caused delays. But Madix and Maloney never lost faith. "We both believed in this project from the start. There were moments of uncertainty, but we knew we would make it happen. It was just a matter of patience and perseverance," Madix explained.

Location and Backdrop

The sandwich shop is located just a few doors down from SUR Restaurant, where Maloney used to work as a server and Madix was a bartender. SUR served as a backdrop for earlier seasons of Vanderpump Rules. This location gives the shop a unique charm and a sense of connection to their past. "It's great to be in this neighborhood and have this place as a part of our story. It's like coming full circle," Madix said.

Celebrity Visits and Beyond

The shop has been frequented by various celebrities, adding to its allure. Andy Cohen, Diane Keaton, and Seth Rogen and his wife Lauren Miller have all been seen there. Madix also spoke about her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago and how it has opened up new opportunities for her. "It's been an amazing experience and a great learning curve. I'm excited to see where it takes me next," she said.While she won't be returning to Vanderpump Rules, Madix is focused on her other ventures. She feels good that fans now know the show's fate and is looking forward to what the future holds. Season 12 of Vanderpump Rules, with a new group of SUR employees, is set to premiere in 2025. Madix's journey is a testament to her determination and entrepreneurial spirit.
