Beyoncé's Latest Album and Certifications

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) made a significant announcement on Tuesday, Dec. 17. Beyoncé now holds the title of having the most certified titles among female artists. She currently has an astonishing 103 RIAA certifications. Her latest album has earned Platinum honors, while "Texas Hold ‘Em" is 2x-Platinum certified. The second single, "16 Carriages," has achieved Gold certification. Additionally, her previous album, Renaissance, received a 2x Platinum title. These achievements showcase her continuous dominance and creativity.

Each of her albums and songs has a unique story and impact. Her duets with Jay-Z, such as "Drunk in Love" (2013) and "Crazy in Love" (2003), have also gone 8x Platinum, further adding to her impressive portfolio.

The RIAA's certification system is based on the number of units sold. Songs and albums earn Gold certifications if they sell a minimum of 500,000 units. Titles that reach 1 million units sold earn Platinum certifications, and multi-Platinum certifications are awarded at each increment of 1 million units sold. Diamond certifications are reserved for titles that sell 10 million copies.
