"Brittany Mahomes: Fashion Meets Football at Chiefs Games"

Custom Coat for the Chilly Matchup

On December 15 in Cleveland, Ohio, Brittany stepped out for the Chiefs game dressed to impress. Her baby bump was adorned in a neutral Prada puffer that retails for $3,150 and was customized with Chiefs branding. The coat perfectly matched her Prada earmuffs, priced at $975. She completed the look with black pants and a silver bag. This custom coat was a creation of New York-based creative studio Lefty’s Right Mind. Founder Danielle Becker, inspired by "emotion-creating bespoke pieces," connected with Brittany's stylist Margot Zamet. The process was a whirlwind as Becker had just 48 hours to ideate, design, execute, and ship the coat in time for the game. It started with a classic varsity jacket style but with a tonal holiday aesthetic. By the time she reached Grand Central, the design was finalized and sent to the embroiderer. Margot approved quickly, and the little "Mahomes" on the front pocket added a personal touch.

Details and Design Choices

Embroidery on the coat was no easy task for Becker as she focused on every detail. She envisioned "Mahomes" and "Kansas City" in silver lurex, a subtle and glittery thread, and "Chiefs" as a bold patch to add depth. To keep the color story tight, she chose just three threads: metallic silver, lurex, and a bright white. At the last minute, she shifted the design to the bottom of the coat to ensure Brittany didn't lose the Prada tags. This "game-time decision" was a hit, and it was the little details that made the piece truly unique.

Style on the Sidelines

This season, Brittany has been a constant presence on the sidelines of every Chiefs game. She showcases her style while supporting Patrick and the team. In October, she channeled Britney Spears with an all-red look, reminiscent of the "Oops … I Did It Again" music video. Her red leather ensemble spoke for itself, paired with a simple black bag and black boots. In November, she wore a Chiefs shirt from her Amazon storefront, rocking a black tee with black pants, a black coat, and red knee-high boots. Patrick even joined in by wearing the same shirt on his way to the stadium. The couple's fashion choices have become a staple at Chiefs games.
