Chad Michael Murray has entered a special Christmas era. The actor shared with People magazine the unique experience of having his movie The Merry Gentlemen released on Netflix simultaneously with Lindsay Lohan's Our Little Secret on the same streaming platform. This year, Murray and Lohan reunited for Freakier Friday, and he expressed a desire to collaborate with her again in the future.

Potential for a Holiday Movie Reunion

Murray told the publication that if given the chance, it would be wonderful to work with Lohan on another holiday movie. "Just think, we were all over the place during Freaky Friday 2. But to be able to sit together and create something where it's just the two of us carrying the world, with our families coming to the set, that would be a truly beautiful thing," he said. The fact that both their Christmas movies are set to release around the same time, just a week or two apart, adds an extra layer of excitement.

Freaky Friday Sequel Cast and Plot

In the Freaky Friday sequel, Murray and Lohan will reprise their roles as Jake and Anna from the 2003 film. Jamie Lee Curtis is back as Tess, joined by Mark Harmon, Rosalind Chao, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, and Stephen Tobolowsky. Newcomers Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Manny Jacinto, and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan complete the cast. The story follows Anna and Tess 20 years after the original film. Anna now has a daughter and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As the two families face the challenges of merging, Anna and Tess, as a mother-daughter duo, discover that lightning can indeed strike twice.

Even though they have had their ups and downs in each other's lives over the years, they have still known each other for more than 20 years. Watching Lohan grow and seeing her with her little boy and meeting her husband has been a special experience. Sharing these moments as grown adults makes it all the more meaningful. There is a certain sense of full circle about these events.
